La última semana del mes de mayo hemos dicho ADIÓS a nuestro QUINN, el auxiliar de conversación que este año nos ha acompañado desde octubre, y con el que TODOS hemos aprendido y disfrutado.
Desde estas líneas, agradecemos su trabajo, su esfuerzo y su dedicación a lo largo de todo el curso.
Compartimos con vosotros una carta de DESPEDIDA que nos ha preparado.

A community which extends past the students, fellow teachers, and physical limits of the school itself.
Here, in this small Pueblo, that is Rus, I have found extreme kindness and acceptance. Moving to Úbeda this past September I found myself in a foreign place, foreign community, and grappling with the limitations of a foreign language I had not yet grasped.
Amidst these unknowns, I was required to commit myself to the role of language assistant. On my first day, I immediately felt that my presence was valued. Not only were the students excited by me being there but I could feel my coworkers were as well. I could feel the pride in the school and their participation in the program.
Not only that, but I could feel the investment in my own well-being. My coworkers who made sure I got to school, had enough blankets during the winter months, and allowed me the comfort to join their community; I thank you.
To the students who never let the language barrier stop them, showing me respect and patience when I know it was difficult; I thank you.
Today, I finished my time here at I.E.S. Ruradia A more confident, patient, and mature young man. I leave behind a new network of wonderful students and faculty. I hope to cross paths with many of you through the years. Know that you always have someone rooting for you.
